Snowball

Onioncepa

Ground Support: Sunny wall

A tried-and-tested white onion for autumn planting. Snowball sets establish strong roots ahead of winter, shooting up into neat, upright plants. Expect crisp bulbs with smooth white skins, a mild taste, and decent keeping qualities for the larder.
