An example garden

An example of how a growing year looks in Plantly, drawn with the app's own timeline and cards. It is a picture, not a working copy: nothing here can be changed or saved, and no account is needed to look.

The garden is made up. The plants and timings are realistic, but the year is not anyone's.

Your plants

Log / Edit is where you record what actually happened: sowing dates, germination, planting out, notes, and marking a crop finished or failed. It also names the supplier an entry took its timings from. Create a garden to do it for real.

What you are looking at

  • Each bar is a window: when that variety can be sown, planted out and picked.
  • Four of these take their dates from a supplier — the timings are the seller's, not a generic chart. The broad bean has no supplier, so its dates are the grower's own.
  • The markers are logged dates — what actually happened, against what was planned.
  • Sown direct means no plant-out step, so that lane is not drawn at all. The carrots show this.
