High yields of attractive blood-red globes which have an excellent flavour. Stores well. A Best Buy variety as recommended by the Gardening Press and Consumer Groups. Recommended by Will Livingstone (River Cottage head gardener) in BBC Gardeners World Magazine (January 2015 edition): “Grows well from seeds or sets and rarely disappoints in cold or wet weather. It has upright foliage and a large, sweet bulb that is resistant to neck rot.”
